Super Mario Bros. movie
Nintendo of America president, Reggie Fils-Aime has said that despite the rubbish Mario Bros. film, made way back in 1993, Hollywood producers are still interested in bringing Mario back to the big screen.

When asked, by the LA Times, if movie producers still approach Nintendo, Fils-Aime replied:

"All the time. The message is, 'Thank you for the interest.' There have been certain [people] that we have talked in more detail with."

But Reggie doesn’t want a repeat of the last Nintendo film. According to Fils-Aime, if a film were to be based on one of Nintendo’s franchises, he’d want a film to be done right, with quality and respect.

"But I think in the end, because we are a content company and are passionate about our franchises, it will be few and far between that actual deals are done to bring our franchises to life in a different way. These are our children."

We have no problem with another Mario Bros. Film (perhaps a CGI movie), we just want everything to be correct. I.E: don’t cast Dennis Hopper as bloody Bowser.
