Did you know that there is a Lost Planted movie currently in development? If the answer is ‘no’ then shame on you. (it was announced at last years E3).
Turns out that the voice of Solid Snake and the co-writer of the Watchmen film, David Hayter, is working on the screenplay, but Lost Planet 2’s producer Jun Takeuchi has said that the movie won’t be based on the same storyline as the original Lost Planet or it‘s sequel.
"[There] probably [won't be] so much of a reference to this particular title [Lost Planet 2]. However, the only thing I know is those people working on the project that they love the world of Lost Planet. So, we know that they’re going to utilize that world, but as far as the story line goes, the movie is completely different from the game."
We’ve also discovered that the creator of Mega Man, Keiji Inafune, will be involved with the films development as-well-as the development for Lost Planet 2 which is due for Xbox 360 and PS3 in February 2010.
