Bungie
With the Halo Reach BETA now in full swing Bungie have taken a little time out to comment on there thoughts about a new IP form the studio

“we are tremendously proud of what we have accomplished with the Halo series but we fell we can eclipse it with out new IP”

Bungie community boss Brian Jarrard

“If you look at Bungie's history, each new universe we've built has gotten a little big bigger and a little bit broader - with Halo obviously being the crown jewel these days, as a studio, we wouldn't want to embark down a future path where we didn't think we'd continue to improve and eclipse our previous efforts. I mean, every project we embark on, our goal is obviously to do more than we've done before”

Activision have recently snapped up the publishing rights to the what ever it is Bungie are working on for the next 10 years.

From left to right we appear to have the Grass, Fire and Water starter Pokemon as standard with the Japanese names Tsutaaja, Pokabu, and Mijumaru, all so the name of the new region appears to be Ishuu with you this time taking control of a slightly older trainer then in previous games.

Call of Duty: Black Ops
Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops will see a world wide and cross format release date of the 9th of November 2010, whilst the PS3, XBOX 360 and PC versions are no surprise it is nice to see that the Wii is not being left out, all credit to Treyarch who all so released previous title’s Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War on the Wii at the same time as the other main formats, not a year or so later like Infity Ward with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and not at all with Modern Warfare 2.

Mark Lamia head of Treyarch studios has revelled the first details of the Multiplayer and co-op modes in the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Mark Lamia
“The game's cooperative mode will accommodate two to four players and fall in line with the Cold War set deniable ops theme, which will characterise the whole game”

Locked away in an undisclosed location (although probably at Treyarch studios HQ) USA Today was recently lucky enough to try out of the new level titled “Game Hunters”

“Immediately puts you in the boots of these blacks ops soldiers and behind enemy lines”

“There were these black operations, these deniable conflicts, there was unconventional warfare that occurred”

“Underneath the surface of this cold war, there was this hot war and it was taking place between the superpowers”

Mark Lamia commenting in USA Today

“This setting, this period, was perfect for us because it allowed us this creativity. This period hasn't really been done in games and it spans a period of time. We are not getting into the exact period of time, because it is part of our story that we are going to reveal later, but it does cover a longer period during this era”

We can not lie this all sounds great a much better outing this time around by the Treyarch guys WWII was a big mistake last time.
